Amorphis - Παρουσίασαν ένα νέο τους κομμάτι live

   Σε πρόσφατη συναυλία τους στην Φινλανδία οι Amorphis παρουσίασαν το καινούριο κομμάτι τους "Mehtä" -στα αγγλικά "The Forest"- το οποίο θα περιέχεται στον ενδέκατο επερχόμενο δίσκο της μπάντας, που αναμένεται τον Απρίλιο μέσω της Nuclear Blast Records.

   Σχετικά με το ύφος του καινούριου δίσκου, ο κιθαρίστας Esa Holopainen περιγράφει τα κομμάτια "extremely strong, bombastic and skull-pummelling".

   Αποφεύγουν γενικότερα να παίζουν live το νέο τους υλικό ακόμα, για να αποφύγουν την οποιαδήποτε διαρροή του. Το "Mehtä" ήταν απλά για να δουν μια πρώτη αντίδραση του κοινού. Μετά την πρώτη αυτή ακρόαση πάντως όντως περιμένουμε έναν μάλλον πολύ πιο δυναμικό δίσκο από τον περσινό "The Beginning Of Times".

Sonata Arctica - Περισσότερες πληροφορίες για τον νέο δίσκο "Stones Grow Her Name"

  Oι Sonata Arctica αποκάλυψαν τα τραγούδια που θα πλαισιώνουν τον νέο δίσκο τους,"Stones Grow Her Name" που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 18 Μαΐου από την Νuclear Blast Records. Το μιξάρισμα του άλμπουμ επιμελήθηκε ο Mikko Karmila στα Sonic Pump Studios, ενώ το "Stones Grow Her Name" θα κυκλοφορήσει επίσης σε digipak limited edition, "κοσμηματοθήκη" και σε βινύλιο. Να σημειωθεί ότι στις 11 Νοεμβρίου οι Sonata Arctica είχαν κυκλοφόρησαν το DVD "Live In Finland", ενώ τελευταία δισκογραφική δουλειά τους ήταν το 2009 με το "Τhe Days Of Grays". 

   Ο τραγουδιστής της μπάντας Tony Kakko δήλωσε για το "Stones Grow Her Name":

"Our newest adventure is only a final touch short of being ready.The recordings went extremely well and the mixing is in schedule. I have to say I am enjoying myself greatly.I've had a very hard and work-filled two-year period writing the songs while touring extensively with our previous album, 'The Days of Grays'. Sonata Arctica: Στην κορυφή των charts στην Φινλανδία το dvd τους

   Tην κορυφή των charts στην Φινλανδία έχει κατακτήσει μέχρι στιγμής το dvd των Sonata Arctica με τίτλο "Live in Finland", που περιέχει την live εμφάνιση τους στο Club Teatria στο Oulu της Φινλανδίας στις 15 Απριλίου 2011 και κυκλοφόρησε στις 11 Νοεμβρίου.

   Ο Henrik Klingenberg δήλωσε:"Once again our fans came through and ripped the DVD off the shelves, resulting in the no.1 position on the Finnish DVD charts ! We're very happy about this and send out our sincere thanks to all of you. It's always very inspiring to get these kind of news, especially now when we're working our asses off in the studio with our next album which will be out this spring."

    Στο dvd εκτός από την εμφάνιση στο Oulu, περιλαμβάνεται και η εμφάνιση των Sonata Arctica στο Kemi, στην πόλη που δημιουργήθηκε η μπάντα, τον Αύγουστο του 2009, ενώ περιέχεται και φωτογραφίες των Φινλανδών, ντοκουμέντα και making-off των video clip τους.
