Άλλος ένας δίσκος για το 2012 αυτή τη φορά από τους progressive rockers Anathema. Ο τίτλος του επερχόμενου δίσκου των Βρετανών είναι "Weather Systems" και προγραμματίζεται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 16 Απριλίου μέσω της The End Records. Αυτή θα είναι και η ένατη κυκλοφορία της μπάντας μετά το άλμπουμ "We're Here Because We're Here" του 2010.
Την παραγωγή του "Weather Systems" επιμελήθηκε ο Christer-André Cederberg (Animal Alpha, In the Woods..., Drawn) και ο Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree).
Ο τραγουδιστής Daniel Cavanagh δήλωσε σχετικά με τον επερχόμενο δίσκο:
"...it feels like we are at a creative peak right now, and this album reflects that. Everything from the production to the writing to the performances are a step up from our last album...
This is not background music for parties. The music is written to deeply move the listener, to uplift or take the listener to the coldest depths of the soul..."
