Οι Σουηδοί Sabaton ανακοίνωσαν τα τραγούδια που θα συμπεριλαμβάνονται στην επερχόμενη δισκογραφική δουλειά τους με τίτλο "Carolus Rex". To νέο αυτό άλμπουμ θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 25 Μαίου από την Nuclear Blast Records, ενώ να σημειωθεί ότι όλα τα τραγούδια θα είναι στα σουηδικά και αναφέρονται στην Σουηδική αυτοκρατορία από το 1561 μέχρι το 1721.
Η επίσημη ανακοίνωση της μπάντας αναφέρει τα εξής:
"For the first time ever we have had an expert to help us out with the theme, the well-known Swedish historian Bengt Liljegren. We have also added some extra time in the studio to find the absolute right sound on 'Carolus Rex', and our producer, Peter Tägtgren, says that this album will mark a brand new standard for how a heavy metal album should sound like!"
Tα μελλοντικά πλάνα των Sabaton ξεκινάνε τον Απρίλιο με την περιοδεία "Swedish Empire Tour 2012" στην Αμερική, για την προώθηση του νέου τους άλμπουμ.
