Οι Dying Fetus ανακοίνωσαν ότι ο τίτλος του επόμενου άλμπουμ τους θα είναι "Reign Supreme" και θα κυκλοφορήσει στα μέσα του 2012 από την Relapse Records. Η ηχογράφηση του "Reign Supreme" θα γίνει στα Wrightway Studios στην Βαλτιμόρη και παραγωγός θα είναι και πάλι ο Steve Wright. Το άλμπουμ αυτό θα περιέχει 9 τραγούδια τα οποία θεωρούνται ως "επιστροφή στις ρίζες" του συγκροτήματος.
"Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know." αναφέρει ένα μέρος της επίσημης ανακοίνωσης της μπάντας για το νέο δίσκο.
Ο κιθαρίστας των Dying Fetus John Gallagher δήλωσε:
"The last album had some groove in it, but it was basically a lot of tech; this one is a return to form of older DYING FETUS albums, so to speak ---more modern production, though, of course. Everything's tight, the sound is crushing, the drums are amazing."
Oι Dying Fetus θα συμμετάσχουν στο Μetal Alliance Tour 2012 στη Βόρειο Αμερική, μαζί με τους Devildriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom, και Wretched, που ξεκινάει στα μέσα Ιανουαρίου
